A number if years ago I worked in a flower shop in southern Tennessee as a junior designer. I was very much in love with what I learning and became a sponge to everything around me. I remember thinking at that time that designing a dozen roses would be a lifelong challenge for me.
During that season the flower shop did a huge southern wedding. It was all moss and wrought iron with cascading peaches and creams. The type of garden wedding with roses and hydrangea that are always a classic! It was so large and overwhelming for me but I knew then I would always have a love for southern charm. It was like a fantasy world that I had just discovered.
From that day on every design I create that reminds me of the day makes me smile and miss the south. This design was from one of those days.
Welcome to my muses & adventures in the world of flowers & design.
