It is always a joyous day when two dear friends are married. For me it was all the more sweet to be able to do their flowers all while exploring a new place.
Rian and Jesse were married on the Nevada side of the mountain range of Lake Tahoe. Though they had grand plans of a ceremony high in the mountains we were confined to the valley due to unusual amounts of snow. I for one was not expecting snow in Nevada in June and was not prepared. Somehow we were all able to pull it together and it was a beautiful ceremony.
For her flowers Jesse wanted a very simple bouquet that had a loose, wildflower look. She wanted pinks, purples, whites and a small touch of yellow. For her bouquet I chose a mixture of snapdragons, larkspur, stock, asters, godetia and sage brush from on thier ranch. The day before the ceremony Jesse's little nieces were my assistants putting the bouquet together and everyone was very pleased.
Welcome to my muses & adventures in the world of flowers & design.
